Recognition of MDS

The Government of India permitted MDS courses at the college from 2007–08, on the recommendation of the Dental Council of India, and later renewed the permission for increased seats.

  • 2007: letter of intent to start MDS in seven specialties (F.No.V.12017/52/2006-DE, 23 March 2007).
  • 2014: increase of seats in Periodontology, Oral and Maxillofacial Surgery, and Prosthodontics and Crown and Bridge (No.V.12017/36/2010-DE, 15 April 2014).
  • 2015: renewal for the increased intake in those three specialties (F.No.V.12017/3/2015-DE, 30 March 2015).
