Prevents ragging on campus and in the hostels, and acts on every complaint. The squad makes surprise checks, especially in the first weeks of the academic year.

Hears complaints of sexual harassment from students and staff, in confidence, under the POSH Act, 2013. At least half the members are women, and the presiding officer is a senior woman faculty member.

Looks into breaches of the student code of conduct, hears the student’s side, and recommends action to the Principal.

Looks after the welfare of students from reserved and minority groups, including scholarships and complaints of discrimination.

Every student has a faculty mentor who meets them regularly about studies, attendance and wellbeing, from first year to internship.

Runs the boys’ and girls’ hostels and the mess, and hears residents’ complaints.

Runs the college’s games, tournaments and annual sports meet, and picks teams for inter-college events.
